Union County Public Schools (UCPS) honored its June Influencers at the June 2 Board of Education meeting.

The Influencers program recognizes the enthusiasm, commitment and outstanding work ethic of UCPS staff members who consistently go above and beyond in support of students, schools and fellow employees.

Honorees are selected through nominations from staff members, students, families and community members who see firsthand the positive impact these employees make each day.

The June honorees were April Little, an AIG teacher at Shiloh Valley Elementary, and Sarah McGinn, a tutor at Parkwood Middle School.

Both employees were recognized for exemplifying the dedication, teamwork and professionalism that support the district’s mission and contribute to student success. Each honoree received a certificate, a UCPS Influencers shirt and an Amazon gift card.
