Help UCPS students start the school year strong by donating school supplies

Union County Public Schools is inviting the community to help students at its Title I schools start the school year prepared by donating essential classroom supplies during the district's School Supply Drive, taking place July 13 through July 29. 

Community members can drop off new school supplies at any of the following locations: 

  • UCPS Central Office, 400 N. Church St. 
  • Porter Ridge Elementary School 
  • Cuthbertson Middle School 
  • Huntington Learning Center – Wesley Chapel 
  • Monroe Aquatics & Fitness Center 

Requested donations include: 

  • Backpacks 
  • Earbuds or headphones 
  • Wide-ruled composition notebooks 
  • Plastic pocket folders 
  • Expo dry-erase markers 
  • No. 2 pencils 

Donations will benefit students at the following UCPS Title I schools: 

  • Benton Heights Elementary School of the Arts 
  • East Elementary School 
  • Indian Trail Elementary School 
  • Marshville Elementary School 
  • Porter Ridge Elementary School 
  • Rock Rest Elementary School 
  • Rocky River Elementary School 
  • Sardis Elementary School 
  • Shiloh Valley Elementary School 
  • Shiloh Valley Primary School 
  • Union Elementary School 
  • Walter Bickett Elementary School 
  • Wingate Elementary School 

Every donation, big or small, helps provide students with the tools they need to learn, grow and thrive from the first day of school. Community support plays an important role in helping students arrive in the classroom prepared and ready to learn. 

The School Supply Drive ends Wednesday, July 29.
