Remote Learning

The image displays the text "REMOTE LEARNING" in large letters, with the word "REMOTE" in blue and "LEARNING" in green. The background features various shapes and patterns in shades of green and blue.

Why is UCPS operating on a remote learning schedule?

  • Since the start of the 2025-2026 school year, students have missed four days of school due to severe weather conditions.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 3  was the last day we could use without impacting the academic calendar.
  • Moving to this option on Wednesday, Feb. 4 will keep the district from using upcoming teacher workdays and other alternative days to make up instructional time.

What do I need to know about remote learning days?

  • Review the information below and be on the lookout for detailed guidance from your school and teachers via Finalsite or normal communication platforms.
  • Teachers will not deliver lessons via live instruction.
  • All students are expected to complete work assignments. Students will have five days to turn in assignments.
  • If you have questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
