#VirtuallyAwesome Students of the Six Weeks 10/16/25
UCVirtual is excited to recognize our first #VirtuallyAwesome Students of the Six Weeks for the Fall semester. We are pleased to celebrate the accomplishments of Palina and McKenna!

Palina is currently a UCV Math III student at Porter Ridge High School. Her teacher, Dr. Melissa Miller nominated her for always being up to date with her assignments, keeping a line of open communication with her instructor on her progress and concerns. Palina always makes sure she is doing the very best she can in her UCV course. Dr. Miller stated, “Her academic achievement is wonderful, but her awesome character and hard work ethic makes her an outgoing person all around!”

McKenna is currently a UCV Global Awareness student at Weddington High School. Her teacher, Ms. Marsha Teal, nominated her for her strong attention to detail in a course that requires daily research and staying up-to-date with current world events. McKenna shows excellent skills in analyzing information from different sources, understanding diverse cultures, and connecting global issues to real-life situations. Ms. Teal remarked that McKenna’s “work is clear and well-organized, providing great examples that other students can use as a reference. Her dedication and thoughtful approach help her understand the world better and make her a great example for her classmates.”
Palina and McKenna both received a #VirtuallyAwesome Certificate and UCVirtual #VirtuallyAwesome t-shirt to recognize them as outstanding students! We are extremely proud to honor these students and their achievements, they are #VirtuallyAwesome!
