NC Virtual Public School (NCVPS) is the state virtual school that offers online courses to North Carolina students. By virtue of their online course delivery, students from all areas of the state have access to courses and highly qualified teachers in subjects that may not be available at their local school.

 

In Union County Public Schools, NCVPS is used for students who want to take a course not available at the school, a course that cannot be accommodated in his/her schedule, a course above the full course load, or a course not offered by UCVirtual.

Parents, students, and other stakeholders can access NCVPS course offerings by visiting the NCVPS Course Catalog. You will find courses by subject area or program. For each course, you will see the course number, course title, credits earned, state test associated with the course, and the semester that the course is offered (summer, yearlong fall, early fall, fall, early spring, and spring).
