Union County Public Schools (UCPS) is the sixth-largest public school system in North Carolina. We serve nearly 41,000 students at 53 schools and have approximately 5,000 staff members. As one of the top-performing school districts in North Carolina, UCPS leads the Charlotte region and the 12 largest school districts in a number of academic performance areas.
